BT Infonet receives Telemark’s ‘Best in Class’ for Overall Satisfaction
Telemark announces the publication today of its 19th edition of its world-wide Voice of Customer report evaluating user opinion of Managed Data network Services.
The following Telemark Gold Awards were presented to the operators for achieving outstanding levels of customer satisfaction.
BT: Long Term Relationship; Equant: Secure Data Transfer and Geographical Reach End-to-End, MCI Network Availability; NTT: Secure Data Transfer and No Hidden Extras in Bills.
The report shows how each operator is perceived to perform on 32 service attributes and overall. BT Infonet received the accolade of ‘Best in Class’ overall.
Group categories are Network Operation, Network Installation, Meeting Requirements, Customer Support, Pricing, and Billing, where strengths and weaknesses per global operator are assessed on a comparative basis.
Customer requirements, evident from the importance rankings, include:
- Network continuity with additional emphasis on keeping interruptions to both networks and day-to-day business to a minimum, whether from downtime or installation projects.
- Assurance that the network is completely secure.
- Quality network at a reasonable cost with accurate no nonsense billing.
- Fault handling, provision of prior notification where possible and efficient handling of faults when necessary.
The report, which is available for purchase, measures customer satisfaction with Global Service Providers of Managed Data Network Services on each of the importance criteria and against a range of benchmark standards.
